I am back! I took a blogging vacation because my life has been so busy. Just a quick update as I have a resume to put together for tomorrow for this awesome HR position that I think would be really excellent for me. Basically, my biggest responsibility would be to publish, edit, and design the company newsletter. That would be so cool. And the pay is phenomenal...can't beat that. Wish me luck! (I don't feel like making up my resume....wahhh).
Bob and I have been doing awesome! Christmas Eve we did our xmas. It was so cool. We sat at the foot of my beautiful xmas tree and opened our gifts together. I made out this year! He got my a beautiful gold Citizen watch from Jared the Galleria of Jewelry, a body pillow Hugoo from Sharper Image ('cuz I need something to cuddle with after he leaves for work), and this really pretty moon and stars wall hanging because I love moon and stars. His gifts were so romantic and thoughtful (he picked up on the fact that I needed a nice gold watch for when we're all dressed up). I was so happy with all that he did for me.
My parents spoiled me rotten at Christmas too. I got a breadmaker (life long dream of mine), a bookcase (I really needed another one as I have a million books), a bunch of clothes, bath and body stuff, ornaments, dvds, cds, etc. I couldn't have been happier. Come to think of it, the rest of the family spoiled me too. My siblings rock!
I got to hang out with my step-sis (Tarah) and her boyfriend Dave a couple days after Christmas. That was great. Tarah and I used to be best friends, which was how our parents met in the first place, but now we hardly communicate. I still feel that same connection though every time we're together. Her and Dave and I played dominoes for a few hours and then the 3 of us left to try a new Irish Pub in town. We chatted and chilled and just had a wonderful time. I was really glad to have gotten some hang out time with them.
Speaking of Tarah, I am so proud of her! She finally has the job of her dreams! The kind of job that she got a degree for. She even gets to go to New York sometime this year for a week long conference (she's always dreamt of going to New York). If anyone deserves to make it I would say it's Tarah. She has fought hard for all she has and she deserves nothing less than the best.
Bob took him and I out to a nice dinner on New Year's Eve. We both got very yummy steaks. Mmm. I adore a great steak! (Actually, I should make steak for Bob and I this weekend...hmmm).
I have off Thursday through Sunday so I plan on getting a lot done around the house. I have a meeting for lunch Thursday with some people from church. I am on the church health (growth) committee and we are having our first meeting that day. I am pretty excited about this. We'll see how it goes. The committee is actually mostly women.....so hahaha men....finally you're not on top...atleast not this pile! Ha! (Sorry, I just had to...lol).
Right now I am at home trying to will my water to go down my sinks, toilet, and tub. It's not working. One of my pipes must be froze again. I get so frustrated by this! I hope it's above freezing tomorrow so I can use my water again. I haven't had a problem really until it was below freezing for practically a whole week straight and I wasn't home much to run water and voila....frozen pipes awaited my return. Yippee! "I'm lovin' it". Yeah, well I bet McDonald's doesn't have frozen pipes and nowhere for their used water to go. Hmph.
I have the SIMS Deluxe Edition now. I have never played with these but I can't wait to give it a try. Who wouldn't love a game where you can create and control people? Lol. Gotta go. Love ya all. (Wow...I'm a Texan now).

I have had no time to update. I will give no excuses though. Lol. Wednesday, Bob surprised me by having a beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered to my work. There were roses and orchids and daisies and carnations and many other kinds of flowers in it. The bouquet was a sunshine burst of many colors. It was absolutely breathtaking. Did I mention that I love that man? I am so lucky.
I went out last night and did most of my Christmas shopping after work. It was actually lots of fun. Since it was so late at night I was the only person in the stores. No crowds, no hassle, all the store helpers to myself. It was great. I had the clerks shopping for me! Lol! Afterwards, I went home and wrapped everything. That was not so much fun. : ( I am not very good at wrapping gifts. Such a hassle!
I work all weekend which kind of has me bummed but oh well. Atleast, I have Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday off next week! Looking forward to that! Actually, Thursday I was hoping to spend the day at my folks baking with my mom. It's been a long time since we've done something like that together!
I don't have much time so I should get going. Just wanted to write a little something!
