Days 9-11

I am not reporting anything on the diet for these days because I had oral surgery and haven't really been eating (not supposed to) or exercising (not supposed to).  I feel like I have gained weight since I weighed in on Tuesday morning.  I hope I am as wrong about this as I was last week!  I guess I will find out in four days!  Wish me luck!

I watched The Biggest Loser for the first time the other day!  WOW!  That show is soooo motivational.  I am really going to start trying harder once my mouth is healed enough to allow it.

Today, I wish to talk about a few other things.  First, let me say that the other day I saw a bumper sticker I had never seen before.  It stated, "I was born ok the first time.  I don't need you."  It was over a christian fish symbol that stated, " 'N chips" inside it.  There were two kids in the back seat.  I felt bad for those two kids;  growing up with parents that not only chose not to be christians (which is one thing because everyone is entitled to make their own decisions regarding religion) but who chose to make a mockery of the religion, chose to make a fool of God and his followers.  I hope I never see a bumper sticker like that again.  (My heart felt for the parents too, who were apparently so closed to the idea of christianity).

Now let me say that Wednesday I got an email from someone within my corporation that was only addressed to four women, one being me.  This email came from a woman who personally addressed each of us with something (just a sentence or two)  that showed she knew each of us reasonably well.  (For me she spoke of my accident that I had in May and the struggles I have gone through since).  Then she recommended us to visit a link entitled something like Godsfriendshippoemforchristians.  I clicked on it and it spoke directly to my heart and soul.  It was exactly what I needed to hear to give me all the tools I need to make the changes I am hoping to make.  The miraculous thing here is that I have never heard of this woman.  When I looked her up in the company database of over 40,000 employees I found that not only does she not work in our plant/office but she doesn't even work in our business area (totally different aspects of the corporation with no common links), she doesn't even work in our region.  I asked a few people here if they knew of her and they all said they never have.  I thought maybe someone here knew her and had spoken to her about me.  This does not seem to be the case.  I am sure she must have meant to send it to a different person and accidentally got me but what an amazing thing that I needed to hear it.  God does work in mysterious ways.  Since receiving that email I have had small miracles happening.  It's awesome.

Here is to being blessed!  May the Lord bless you in all that you do too!  Now is the time to make a difference!
